Lesson overview

Machu Picchu is an abandoned stone city built by the Incas. The Incas were the largest civilisation in South America before the area was conquered by the Spanish around 600 years ago. This city is situated 8,000 ft above sea level in the Andes mountains. In this virtual experience, you will explore the amazing landscape of Machu Picchu.
